I am always searching for new recipes using toffee products. If you have a unique way of using toffee bars, sundae sauces, caramel, or gourmet confections, consider entering Elizabeth's Recipe Contest.
Entries will be accepted until June 1, 2015. Recipes will be tried in our test kitchen and the winners will be announced on July 1, 2015. Prizes awarded will include: First prize; one year supply of Elizabeth's finest chocolate toffee. Second prize; assortment of sundae sauces. Third prize; collection of gourmet confections.
Last year's winning recipe was Chocolava Surprise:
- 1 pint French vanilla ice cream
- 1 package milk chocolate toffee
- Gourmet caramel sauce
Scoop ice cream into a bowl. In a separate bowl, microwave toffee for 1 minute. Pour over ice cream. Top with caramel sauce and enjoy. Delicious!

Chatting with Elizabeth...
This week I received an email from Susan in Arizona. She mentioned she was having a problem with chocolate toffee melting in the summer. While she is away at work, the thermostat in her home climbs as high as 85 degrees. This causes her toffee to melt and it makes a mess when she tries to eat it. I think it is possible that a lot of people in warm climates may have the same problem.I replied to Susan's email and told her to put her chocolate toffee in the refrigerator during the day. When she returns home from work, she can take out the amount she wants to eat and let it warm up a little before she eats it. Everyone who lives in a warm climate can use this tip to ensure the quality of their afternoon indulgence. Let me know how it goes Susan!

Discovering Health Benefits in Chocolate Toffee
When chocolate and toffee are melded together in a sweet concoction, the answer is YUM! Elizabeth's Toffee can provide you with the total bliss you have been searching for. Studies show chocolate plus toffee releases good vibes in your bloodstream. This lets you achieve total chocolate toffee nirvana.
Chocolate is known to have a calming effect on the nervous system. I use chocolate toffee whenever my kids are driving me crazy. Soon everyone gets a piece of toffee, and everyone's mood improves. Now I can supervise homework, baths and bed, with a smile on my face! When my work is done for the day, I can sit back in my recliner, and indulge to my hearts content. YUM!
